01 Shape and Complexity of Parts
For simple linear shapes and regular geometric figures, shearing machines can be used first for blanking; for complex curves, special-shaped holes or special shapes, laser cutting or CNC punching is more suitable.

02 Type and Thickness of Material
For thinner sheets (usually less than 3mm), laser cutting can provide high precision and good cutting quality; for thicker sheets (larger than 6mm), plasma cutting or flame cutting may be more effective.

03 Required Quantity
For mass production of special stamping molds, CNC punching machines are more efficient and cost-effective; for small batch or single-piece production, the flexibility of laser cutting or simple molds is more advantageous.

04 Accuracy Requirements
High-precision requirements (such as tolerance within ±0.1mm), laser cutting and CNC bending can usually meet the requirements. General accuracy requirements: ordinary shearing and bending equipment is sufficient.

From the perspective of your cost, if general accuracy requirements are required: ordinary shearing and bending equipment will suffice. High quality and precision requirements and sufficient budget: Priority will be given to advanced laser cutting and CNC equipment.

The surface is required to be smooth and burr-free: the surface quality after laser cutting is usually better.
